Workplace Wellness Conference
April 12, 2019 in Oshkosh, Wis.
More than ever, there is focus on mental health in the workplace. A conference geared toward workplace wellness will teach you how to remain calm when anxiety begins to overwhelm. It will teach you about conflict resolution with challenging people and creation of a supportive, healthy work environment. You’ll learn about different communication styles and how to create a more successful team. You’ll explore strategies for reducing compassion fatigue—is it the same as burnout?—and identifying calming activities.
Sponsored by UW Oshkosh Continuing Education and the Center for Community Development, Engagement and Training (CCDET), these are just a few of the topics to be discussed at the Workplace Wellness Conference set for Friday, April 12, 2019, at the UW Oshkosh Alumni Welcome and Conference Center, 625 Pearl Ave., Oshkosh. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the conference runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Whether you work in business, community service or education, this conference has something for you!
