Leadership and Organizational Development

The Leadership and Organizational Development (LOD) program is focused on enhancing the skills that students need to become leaders or advance as executives in organizations across a variety of industries. Graduates from the LOD program will expand their skills and knowledge in leading an effective organization through collaboration, organizational development and ethical decision making.

The online LOD program offers a degree that prepares students to be leaders in a wide variety of workplace environments. It is applicable for students interested in pursuing leadership roles in a wide variety of business settings, as well as in non-profit, civic and community organizations.

WHO SHOULD MAJOR IN LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT?

LOD is a great fit for students who have multiple interests and diverse talents. The major is a great option for students who:

  • Want to advance their careers into management, director and leadership levels.
  • Have a passion for collaboration.
  • Are up to the challenge of leadership in today’s fast-paced global economy.
  • Want to deepen their knowledge in a wide variety of organizational management topics.

Affordable and Flexible Format

UWO+ courses are offered in accelerated, seven-week sessions and are all available 100% online. We offer rolling admission, so students can start at the beginning of any seven-week session. There’s no need to wait for the start of an official semester—you can begin earning your degree when you’re ready.

Professors schedule assignment deadlines, but coursework and readings are done at a time that best fits your schedule. There are no live classes or scheduled meeting times, which means our programs work for working professionals.

Courses in the UWO+ program are stackable, which helps you complete your degree sooner! Students in the UWO+ program can enroll in one or more courses each semester and the accelerated format means you’ll take fewer courses at the same time.

Student Support

At UW Oshkosh, student support is at the heart of all that we do. We offer career guidance, personal support and flexible learning opportunities. UWO+ programs offer high-touch support services, so whether you need technical assistance with the learning platform or help with your assignments, we are here to help you succeed.

Cost

UWO+ programs are affordable and optimize the return on investment for students who want to see how online courses fit into their schedules.

Each student’s financial investment will depend on how many credits they transfer and how many credits they earn for prior experience.
