a. Animal Welfare Assurance (AWA) Renewal: UWO’s AWA renewal was approved by OLAW on March 1, 2022 and is active until February 28, 2026. A final version of the document is in the meeting folder.
b. Updated OLAW Guidance: As of February 1, 2022, flexibilities during COVID-19 are still in effect. See OLAW’s COVID-19 frequently asked questions: COVID-19 Pandemic Contingency Planning for Animal Care and Use Programs | OLAW (nih.gov)
c. Semi-annual facility inspections will be conducted next month (April). An email will be sent to schedule the inspections.
