b. GRADUATE. To be eligible for graduation with an MSW degree, students must fulfill the following expectations, effective Fall 2021:
1. Meet remaining course requirements beyond those required for initial admission;
2. Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA
3. Earn a C or above in every required course and MSW elective, with the exception of SW 709, SW 710, SW 729, SW 733;
4. successful completion of the field practicum(s) (SW 709, SW 710, SW 729, SW 733) with a B or better; and
5. submission of MSW application to candidacy.
Motion #3- Students who completed coursework prior to Fall 2021 and in that coursework adhered to the existing grading policies, will not be required to abide by the current grading policies. Instead, any students in the program currently will be allowed to complete their degrees even if they earned a B-, C+, or C in any course other than SW 709, SW 710, SW 729, or SW 733 as long as their overall GPA is at least 3.0.
