Key Performance Indicators
Discussion Items:
Continuation of AOL plan creation and implementation
(HO2) LG 1A (business knowledge): still need specific learning elements for Bus Law, FIN 331 and IS311; remind departments to check that pre-core and core courses and post-tests accurately reflect these new business knowledge learning objective elements
(HO5) LG 1B (business connections): finalize and implement
LG 2A,B (international objectives): global committee will work on crafting rubrics in Fall; plan for Spring implementation
LG 2C (diversity, inclusion, equity): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
LG 3A (ethics): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
LG 3B (sustainability): intention is for Social Impact Working Group to eventually tackle this; hopefully rubric and plan creation in the Spring and implementation next Fall
LG 4A,B (technology): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
LG 4C (data analytics): create working group in the Fall to create rubric and plan; hopefully implement in Spring
LG 5A,B (career-readiness): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
LG 5C (communication): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
Define policy and procedures in an AOL plan document; essentially a “how-to guide” (HO3)
Discuss creating an AoL Committee (HO4)
Purpose is to remove much of the AoL day-to-day tasks from UPC, with UPC acting as the approving authority of any AoL plan changes
BBA annual assessment report (Fall)
Now is a good time to reconsider its presentation format and content, and how to infuse last year’s AOL plan progress
Program reviews
Marketing, IS, Management, Supply Chain (January – March)
Everyone will need to help write at least one response to a program review, either as a primary or secondary author.
Syllabus review
Last done in Fall 2019 and missed in Spring 2021 due to COVID. Idea is to make certain pre-core, core, GKR, career-readiness and CEC syllabi contain all necessary and accurate references to learning goal and learning objective coverage
Once the rubrics are approved, instructors will need to confirm their courses still “cover” the learning objective elements as defined by the rubrics.
Curricular Items:
Marketing Forms – Planning document (HO6)
Form C – Suspend emphases (HO7, HO8)
Form C – Allow Marketing majors to complete certificates (HO9, HO10)
