Reminders:
We need LO1A elements for Finance 331 and IS 311.
For all of us, please double check to make sure that our core and pre-core course content and post-tests reflect these elements in the LO1A rubric
BBA annual assessment report department responses due by October 25 if at all possible. Send to Melissa when finished. Responses should focus on department responses to COVID or any other lasting changes departments made to courses.
Registrar’s comments about our questions from the 9/20 meeting
Capsim granted us access for test runs. See my e-mail from 9/23.
Dean Rau provided some guidance on our responses to the program reviews. See my e-mail from 9/23.
Discussion Items:
(HO02) LO 1B (business connections): finalize and implement
CEC instructor feedback: overall LO 1B is taught but not explicitly assessed. Most suitable assessments are group projects.
Options include:
integrating a simulation like Capsim into CECs in non-BKE semesters.
Work on crafting suitable exam questions, either placed in exams in the CEC classes or for the BKE.
Work with the CEC instructors to find a way to assess LO 1B in their existing class materials.
Any other ideas?
(HO03) LO 2C (diversity, inclusion, equity): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
(HO04) LO 3A (ethics): approve rubric and plan, implement in Spring
Discuss creating an AoL Committee
Purpose is to remove much of the AoL day-to-day tasks from UPC, with UPC acting as the approving authority of any AoL plan changes (HO05)
