Abstract

Radio spectrum is a scarce and precious resource, which is in ever-increasing demand. However, spectrum allocation and spectrum utilization are not necessarily the same. During this research, we wanted to see if there are spectrum holes within the allocated spectrum bands that can be identified for potential re-allocation, using a spectrum analyzer.
