Students in Resident Halls:

Permits for the 2018-2019 year are sold on a lottery basis.  An email will be sent at the end of June or beginning of July using UW Oshkosh email addresses to students who are signed up with Residence Life. A link will be given that will direct students to the application.  The email will explain the different permits, along with the requirements and deadline for applying, in order to be included in the permit lottery. All students whose applications are receive by the deadline of July 31 are included in the permit lottery and will be emailed after the permit lottery is completed (around mid-August) as to what permit may be issued.  If a permit is not available, off-campus and alternative transportation options will be emailed.  The students who do not receive permits will be placed on a waiting list.  Anyone who did not complete the application by the deadline may email us to ask for the application link so that your name can be placed on the waiting list.

Please email us at if you would like further information. View a list of resident permit options.
