A carpool permit, when the vehicle is parked on campus, must be hung in the driver’s window (see picture below) so it is clearly visible to enforcement staff. Failure to display the permit may result in a “permit not displayed” ticket and a $15 fine. The replacement cost for a lost permit is $40, plus an additional fee if a new carpool hook is requested.
Window decals (non-carpool permits) must be placed on the outside of the driver’s side window (see picture below). Affixing a decal by taping, clipping or tucking in is not considered permanently or properly displayed and may result in a ticket.
Any permit that is not properly displayed may result in a ticket.
Parking permits are never to be transferred or sold to another person but may be transferable to another vehicle with prior permission of Parking Services.
