Parking Regulations

Permit Parking Only
Parking regulations are enforced year-round, even when classes are not in session.

Weekend Parking Rules
Parking in any legal, non-reserved space is FREE from 4 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday.


Every person who parks a motor vehicle on University property, including a motorcycle or moped, must have a valid University parking permit or pay at a parking meter or pay station. Please see the options that we have available for our visitors.

Daily Parking

Daily Permits

One-day permits valid from 6 a.m. to midnight, may be purchased through our parking portal for $3/day.

Permits are also available for purchase at Parking Services in Blackhawk Commons Lower Level from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Vehicles with valid visitor permits may be parked in Lot 15, the first level of the High Avenue Parking Ramp (in spaces numbered 158 and lower, except reserved spaces) or in other Visitor Lots from 6 a.m. to midnight.  See our map to view available Visitor Lots.

Visitors without a day permit should use the mobile app AMP Park to purchase short-term parking.  The app is available for free download on Apple or Google Play.

Guest lecturers not receiving compensation or candidates for employment may obtain a free parking permit if the host department requests it via email.


Short-term parking

Permits may be purchased for short-term needs through the mobile app called AMP Park. The app is available for free download on Apple or Google Play.  The app allows user to purchase a parking permit valid in increments from three minutes to 16 hours.


  • Lot 15 next to Blackhawk Commons ($1.50/hour)
  • Lot 10 by Gruenhagen Conference Center entrance ($1.50/hour)
  • High Avenue ($1/hour)
  • Osceola Street ($1/hour)
  • Lots noted on the map in bright yellow or tan (excluding reserved spaces) ($1.00/hour)

No parking on High Avenue and/or Osceola Street from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.

No parking in visitor lots from midnight to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

If you experience a problem with AMP Park, contact Parking Services immediately by email at or phone at 920-424-4455 to notify us of the problem you are encountering so that we may address the issue.  If after hours, your message will be addressed the following business day.

Overnight Permits (beginning at 4 p.m.)

Overnight permits are suspended until further notice.
