Subject: Suspicious Incident-Hazardous Material Update 4

The Oshkosh Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation continue the investigation of a hazardous material found inside a house in the 800 block of Frederick St.

The roads are closed to vehicle traffic and citizens are asked to stay out of the area near the 800 block of Frederick St. Roads and sidewalks are closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Frederick St. between W. Irving Ave and Scott Ave; W. Lincoln between Central St. and Franklin St; and Scott Ave. between Central St. and Franklin St., unless you live in that area.

Those that live in these areas will be allowed to leave the area with a vehicle, but will only be allowed to walk back to their homes under escort by police officers. If you live in the area and request an escort, please contact a police officer in the area for assistance. It is unknown when the roads will be opened.
