Subject: BB Gun Incident – Arrests Made

The Oshkosh Police Department arrested four teens early this morning for Criminal Damage to Property after a report of another BB gun incident in the 700 block of Scott Ave.

The incident began at about 12:05 AM this morning when a vehicle was observed in the 700 block of Scott Ave. and one of the occupants shot out a window to another vehicle; and a 22 year-old male stated he was struck in the leg with a BB.

A suspect vehicle description was given and about an hour later, UW-Oshkosh Police located the vehicle in one of the UW-Oshkosh campus parking lots. A 17 year-old female and three 15 year-old male’s, all from Oshkosh, were inside the vehicle. Two BB guns were also located inside the vehicle.

All four teens had referral arrests for party to a crime/Criminal Damage to Property sent to Juvenile Intake. They were all released to parents.

The Oshkosh Police Department continues its investigation into the recent BB gun incidents.
