INVESTIGATION UPDATE, Sept. 9 | 10:00 a.m. – 

The reported stolen vehicle was located roughly 5 blocks from the area where it was reported stolen. Investigation and evidence indicates that this vehicle was very likely not stolen but was misplaced and later recovered.

UWO Police Department takes all crimes seriously and it’s important to note that several vehicles have been stolen in the City of Oshkosh over the past few months so if a UW Oshkosh community member would like to stop in and obtain a free steering wheel lock, we have some available for your use.

UWO Police Department is investigating the report of a vehicle theft that occurred today, Sept. 8 between 11:30A and 2:30P in the 700 block of Cherry St.

Over the past several months there have also been reported thefts from vehicles and thefts of catalytic converters in the City of Oshkosh.
