Pass/Fail Grade Procedure for Spring 2020 (Optional)

In Spring 2020, all students will receive a letter grade. However, following receipt of a letter grade, a student may request by June 3, 2020 (via an online form that will be developed and made available to you) the grade be changed to one of the following:

Graduate Students:

  • PC = Pass Credit (B or higher, may meet minimum course and program requirement)
  • PO = Pass Other (B-, C+, C, may not meet any prerequisite)
  • NC = No Count (F, no credit)

These grades will not factor in the student’s GPA.

Requests will be reviewed as follows:
Graduate students: The request will be reviewed by an adviser in the program (any PA faculty teaching the specific course) or by the program coordinator (Dr. Filipova).

All requests and changes made will be communicated to you no later than June 26, 2020. We expect requests to be approved unless there is a negative impact on a student’s academic progress or programmatic accreditation.
