It is my great pleasure to announce that we have 21 students who are graduating from the MPA program and 1 student who is graduating from the Graduate Healthcare Management Certificate Program (who also graduated from our MPA program in Spring 2017) this fall 2020 semester! Please take this opportunity to congratulate your colleagues on this incredible achievement!
These students are:
Graduate Healthcare Management Certificate
John Johnson, III, MPA
This semester the graduation ceremony will be virtual again. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19. Please check the details on the university website: https://uwosh.edu/commencement/. MPA faculty will not be able to participate in a virtual ceremony due to teaching duties on Saturday, so we all decided to share our individual congratulations with our graduates!
Dr. Michael Ford: “Congratulations to all of you! Your ability to finish this program by itself is impressive, to do it under the current circumstances is amazing. It was a pleasure having you all in class, and I am in awe with the quality of your capstone projects. Good luck with whatever comes next, stay in touch, and take pride in being part of the UWO MPA network of graduates!”
Dr. Samantha Larson: “Congratulations on completing your MPA in a year unlike any other. One of the most important things you can do is find a creative way to celebrate this moment. You deserve a big pat on the back for juggling work/family/graduate school, putting in long hours and late nights, and pushing through to complete your degree in the middle of a pandemic. It’s been a joy for me to be part of your journey. I wish you all the best on your next steps. Please reach out if there is any way I can help you down the road!”
Dr. Anna Filipova:“Warmest congratulations on your graduation! Take pride in how far you have come and go confidently and courageously in the direction of your dream! As leaders be humble, responsible, and always act with integrity! Take good care of your family and yourself! Be very healthy and happy! I hope to be in touch with all of you for years to come and hear about your professional and personal successes! Congratulations again! I am so proud to have been your teacher!”
