Meet the Personal Trainers!

Here at Student Recreation & Wellness, we offer a one-on-one workout experience with one of our skilled and knowledgable Personal Trainers. We welcome students with any level of fitness background. Wether you need help building a workout plan or need someone there to motivate you, our personal trainers are excited to work with you. Feel free to sign up for one session or 10. Meet our personal trainers below!

Ben Buckner

Personal Trainer

Ben is a Kinesiology major who is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. His favorite workout is curls and he pairs that with his favorite workout jam: “Tunnel Vision” by Kodak Black. On his rest days, Ben likes to relax and watch movies.

Annabelle Damkot

Personal Trainer

Annabelle is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis in Exercise and Fitness. She is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Her favorite workout is doing supersets and circuits because they keep your heart rate up throughout workouts. More specifically, her favorite lift is a deadlift. When she works-out she likes to listen to anything upbeat and on her rest days she is either hanging out with friends or studying at coffee shops.

Nolan Fullington

Personal Trainer

Nolan is a RTF major who is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. His favorite workout is back and biceps because he feels that his back is his weak point. During his workouts his favorite jams are anything that has a good rhythm. Which could mean anything from Mozart to Eminem. On his off days, Nolan likes to relax and take time to finish other important tasks. 

“If your dream does not borderline a nightmare, then you’re just day dreaming.” He created this quote to remind himself that some things worth doing can be scary, but leads you on the right track . 

Tyler Jensen

Personal Trainer

Tyler is a Communications major with a Business minor. His favorite workout is High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T). and during his workouts, Tylers jams consist of “False Pretense” by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and “Welcome to the Fire” by SLANDER & Sullivan King. When he’s not working out, Tyler likes to just relax at home. 

“Failure is the key to success” 

Austin Kosmal

Personal Trainer

Austin is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis in Exercise and Fitness who is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. His favorite workout is free weights. While working out, Austin likes to listen to anything Rock or Metal and on his rest days, he likes to go for runs and do core work.

Allie Zahn

Personal Trainer

Allie is a Kinesiology major here at UWO. Her favorite workout to do is legs! More specifically, squats and lunges. Her all time workout jam is “Gold Coast” by Nate Good. In her free time Allie loves to go for runs or watch Netflix.
