When students formally moved out of the residence halls, current residential meal plans were discontinued. Completing the weekend check out alerted the University Dining office that the meal plan was ended. If you were approved by Residence Life to continue living on-campus, your current meal plan will continue through the end of your contract.
Students currently living on-campus with a meal plan
Beginning Friday, April 10, service for students on a meal plan changed. Food is made-to-order and picked up from Blackhawk Xpress (the dining room is closed). This change will allow students more freedom to order at times that can fit better with class schedules and the ability to personalize food choices.
Ready to eat – a meal that is ready to eat at time of pickup
Frozen – a meal that can be reheated in a microwave, at your convenience
Bulk – several meals, packaged to eat at your convenience
Convenience Store items – items normally available at Scotty’s Market
Ordering now takes place on GrubHub, our campus mobile ordering app. More details about downloading the app can be found on our website. The full menu of what is offered is listed on the app. You can use a meal to get a full meal selection, or use Titan Dollars for a selection of retail snack items including bottled beverages, candy bars, frozen meals and more.
Food can only be ordered via GrubHub (orders will not be taken in person). Students will select a pick-up time for their meal during the checkout process on GrubHub. Meals will be picked up on the northwest (Taylor Hall) side of the building. Please practice social distancing guidelines during pickup. If students would like a friend to pick up their meal, they should put their name on the order.
Off-campus students with meal plans
If you live off-campus and have a meal plan, your plan will not automatically discontinue. You are able to use your meal plan following the instructions listed above.
If you would like to cancel your meal plan, please fill out the Off-Campus Meal Plan Sign-Up/Change form. The deadline to cancel your meal plan is Friday, May 1, 2020.
