This Spring, we are introducing some key changes from Fall 2020 operations:
Blackhawk Commons will return to serving at multiple stations and offer an expanded salad bar. Reduced seating and reusable to-go containers will continue to be in place for service.
We are excited to welcome back Reeve Union Marketplace weekends for students on a meal plan. On Fridays beginning at 2:30 PM, through Sunday evening, you will be able to use your meal plan in Reeve Marketplace.
- If you do not want to select from a retail menu, there will also be an All-You-Care-to-Eat menu at Grains and Greens (serving brunch and dinner).
- Seating is limited and we encourage you to use Grubhub to reduce wait times.
- Due to this change, Blackhawk Commons will close after lunch on Friday and re-open on Monday morning.
For Spring 2021 only, Clow Café will not be open; however, you will be able to grab espresso drinks, coffee and food items at Einstein Bros. Bagels across the street in Sage Hall.
Please note – If the University and greater Oshkosh community face a greater threat due to the pandemic, meal plans may change. It is important to keep an eye on your University emails and read them if conditions change on campus.
Most dining locations are set up so you can order ahead using the GrubHub mobile app. This will help eliminate wait times and lengthy lines at each location. Look for directional signage to know where to pick up your order.
Face coverings are required at all dining locations. They should be worn when waiting in line, ordering and getting to a table, but can be removed to eat or drink while seated and physically distanced from others.
In-person seating is available at all dining locations. These dining areas have been set up to maintain 6-foot physical distancing and keep occupancy below 25%. Patrons must adhere to the following guidelines for seating areas to remain open:
- Follow directions on signage displayed on walls and tables
- Leave chairs and tables in place, do not rearrange seats to be closer to other people
- Limit your time in seating to 30 minutes to allow others to dine after the table has been sanitized
- Face coverings must remain in-place, unless you are actively eating
- Follow staff directions if you are asked to relocate or leave a seating area if you are not maintaining proper distancing
The dining staff will sanitize tables and seats in between guests. A two-sided card will be found on all tables, indicating whether or not it has been cleaned (green=clean; red=dirty). If staff have not gotten to a table yet, or if you want to do extra sanitation on your own, sanitation stations are available for you to use. Follow the instructions posted at the station. When you are finished at your table, you are encouraged to flip the card from green to red.
Navigating the Line
Each dining location has been adjusted to provide adequate physical distancing while waiting in line. Look for floor, wall and table signage to direct you throughout each dining location.
Location Specific Guidelines
