Workshop Wednesday: Engaging in Healthy Masculinity at Work

September 22, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Workshop Wednesday Presents:

Engaging in Healthy Masculinity at Work.

Join us for a discussion on healthy masculinity, leadership and the workplace hosted by Dr. Carlos Salazar (he/him), Director of the Men of Color and Latino/a/Hispanic Initiatives, and Eliza Farrow (they/them), Program Assistant for the Women’s Center and Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence. Participants will explore the social norms that have historically situated leadership as a masculine trait and identify ways to challenge those norms so that inclusive models of leadership can emerge in the workplace. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Reeve Union, 212. There is no cost.

Students who pre-register receive a FREE box lunch at the workshop session. Students who are not able to pre-register are welcome to attend with their own lunch. Pre-register by Thursday, September 16, 2021 to receive a free lunch at the workshop.
