Bio:

Hailing from the heart of the Midwest in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Mubus (pronounced Moo-biss) was started by Dane Slinger (drummer) and Owen Vihos-Hoover (guitarist) while studying music at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. They began to write music that simultaneously brought nostalgia and pushed the boundaries of post-hardcore. After recruiting Lou Jaeger as a lead vocalist, the team went to work on their first EP and released their debut single, “Wii Sports Resort Skateboarding”.

A few months later James Kies (bassist) and Cole Schalk (rhythm guitarist) were added to the team, and the crew is already composing their first full length album.

Mubus draws inspiration from the sound of post-hardcore, midwest-emo, and metalcore, as their multi-genre backgrounds blended to create a refreshing and thrilling amalgamation. From ethereal choral bridges to dissonant and chaotic breakdowns, Mubus is set to cause some ruckus…
