Relevant, hands-on media training

The UW Oshkosh Radio TV Film program is well known as a hands-on program, offering our students access to the latest equipment and facilities currently utilized in the industry.

Students gain strong base knowledge in aesthetics, writing, media business and industry, history, and important media theories that will have a profound impact on your project development and post-graduation success. It is this critical base knowledge that will make you more than a technician, but an artist, producer and leader with a sharpened, critical view of how media works and how you can best utilize it for your own studies and projects.

Our curriculum aligns with current and future changes in the industry and seeks strong connections between our courses and our students’ journey to graduation and beyond.

4 students work on the set of a multi-camera studio production.
