Prospective Students

Become a media professional

The Radio TV Film (RTF) program offers an industry-focused education to help students establish a career in the fields of media production. What sets the UW Oshkosh program apart from other media programs in the region is that from their first day on campus, a student has access to professional facilities and equipment through RTF courses and our award-winning student media organizations.

We encourage our students to complete an internship or two as a junior or senior. Being able to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom in a professional environment will give them that competitive edge upon graduation.

Graduating students leave with an understanding of aesthetics, writing, production, media business, history and important media theories that will have a profound impact of their post-graduation success.
