Research Interests: European and European Union Politics, Environmental Politics, Comparative Food and Nutrition Policy, Criminal and Environmental International Law
Dr. Slagter is the past Director of UW Oshkosh’s University Studies Program (USP) and in that capacity helped to secure a place for sustainability in general education. Her courses for that program are focused on building sustainable political systems and ensuring sustainable practices in the food system in Oshkosh and beyond.
