Dr. Mueller-Spitz currently teaches Environmental Toxicology and Public Health and Food Microbiology, where she presents multiple concepts related to sustainability in relational to environmental and human health. Her main research interest focuses on interactions of bacteria with their environments to understand how environmental factors and pollution impact their physiology.
