Research Interests: Women and Children in Modern Europe (especially Germany
Mouton incorporates sustainability into her Postwar Europe course (History 344). This course examined in particular the comparative history of nuclear energy, the environmental movement in Western Europe and the environmental devastation in Eastern Europe caused by the quest for socialism and the arms race. After her sabbatical, she plans to develop a new course devoted entirely to European Environmental History.
