Research Interests: Rural Sociology, Food systems, and the Environment

Dr. Peter is currently an environmental and rural sociologist with specialties in food systems, agriculture, and the environment as well as community studies and development. His research interests are in rural sociology, sustainable agriculture, and the interface between the environment and society. He was a former UW Fox Valley Sustainability Committee member and part of the Community Garden Partnership on campus.
