Dr. Andrea Dutton, “The View from Here: A Geologist’s Perspective on Living Through Climate Change”

Dr. Andrea Dutton is a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Geoscience. Her main research focus is to establish the behavior of sea level and polar ice sheets during past warm periods to better inform us about future sea-level rise. Dr. Dutton is active in communicating about climate change and sea-level rise to the public and has been extensively quoted and featured in popular media and has testified to the U.S. Senate about matters related to climate change and industrial emissions. Dr. Dutton is a MacArthur fellow, a Fulbright scholar, and a fellow of the Geological Society of America. All are welcome!
