Jessica Brandt

Jessica Brandt is an assistant biology professor on the Fox Cities campus. She was selected for a fellowship in the 2022-23 UW System Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars program, which promotes collaborative scholarship of teaching and learning research centered around equity-minded pedagogy. 

As an instructor, Brandt aims to share her enthusiasm for biology while encouraging students to connect course concepts to their own lives in meaningful ways. Outside the classroom she works with students to conduct field and laboratory research on questions related to wildlife population genetics, conservation management and habitat biodiversity. Her main goal all her endeavors is to make biology accessible and relevant to every student.
