Heather Englund

Heather Englund has been a dedicated member of several university committees related to diversity, equity and inclusion. She is considered an expert in the field of marginalization of minority students in higher education and has presented her research findings both nationally and internationally. Englund’s research extends to marginalized populations as well, having secured nearly $4 million in external funding to develop and implement a treatment program at Milwaukee County House of Corrections for incarcerated individuals with opioid use disorder.
