Nancy Harrison

Learn about Nancy

Nancy Harrison serves as the Director of the UW Oshkosh SSS program. Working with students is the highlight of her job, but a great deal of her time is spent conducting administrative tasks to assure SSS remains at UW Oshkosh. Prior to joining the SSS family at UW Oshkosh, she started and oversaw the Upward Bound program at UW Manitowoc and UW Sheboygan. Upward Bound is a related TRiO program that is for secondary students (precollege). She has been affiliated with the TRiO programs since 1990.

Jason Herman

Jason advises students in the College of Letter’s and Science who specifically have either a STEM or Health Science major.  His focus is primarily on Athletic Training, Biology, Engineering Technology, Engineering Dual, Physics, Kineseiology, Broadfield Natural Science as well as Math Education.  He is an Alum of UW Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Broadfield Social Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership.  Jason has a passion for helping students pursue their academic dreams as well as for the game of Baseball.

Linda Her

Learn about Linda

Linda advises students in the College of Education and Human Services and Social Work students in the College of Letters and Sciences. She has had various experiences within TRIO programs as an alumna from a SSS program and a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Program. Before joining SSS at UW Oshkosh, Linda was a TRIO Coordinator for the Talent Search Program at UW Fox Valley, SSS’s sister program. She is a licensed Elementary Education teacher and earned her Teaching Certification from Marian University in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. Linda received her Bachelor’s degrees in Asian Studies and Studio Art from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. During her undergrad, she worked for Upward Bound and was also a Mentor for students in both Upward Bound and Talent Search while at St.Olaf. As a passionate educator who works to empower the students she serves, Linda is excited to join the the SSS team!  

Cindy Lopez Johnson

Cindy advises students in the College of Letters & Science. She received her undergrad in Human Development and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Higher Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs from the University Arkansas at Little Rock.

Jessi Billings

Learn about Jessi

Jessi advises students that are majoring in the STEM and the health science fields.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from UW-Whitewater in biology, psychology, and English writing.  She went on to earn her Master of Science in Education through the Professional Counseling program at UW Oshkosh and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).  She has a passion for empowering students to cultivate their sense of self and purpose, while guiding them to get the most out of their undergraduate experience.  Outside of work, Jessi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her multitude of animal children, getting immersed in nature, and saving the day through gaming adventures.

Dustin Wagner

Learn about Dustin

Dustin is the University Services Associate for Student Support Services. He is likely the first person you will talk to if you’re checking in, stopping by, or calling to make an appointment. He is an alumna of UW Green Bay with a Bachelor’s degree in History & Theatre, and currently returning to online college for a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design & Media Arts. After graduating, Dustin moved to Madison, where he worked as a Costume Designer for UW Rock County and local theatres. He had various jobs in hospitatility, healthcare, and banking industries. Upon returing to Green Bay, he sought a career change to a UW Oshkosh. “As a first generation student myself, I am very excited to join the SSS team!”
