Mission Statement:

The goal of the Peer Mentoring Program is to keep second year students connected with SSS as well as the greater campus community. Peer Mentors act as a personal connection to the campus and many resources. Mentors are there to help you get in contact with groups, activities, and people around campus that will
allow for students to grow their  connections around campus.in their pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

FERNANDO

“TRIO SSS is a program that has helped me navigate through college. It has provided someone to ask questions to that I would have no clue how to answer on my own.”

ILSA

“TRIO SSS has been a community that continues to push me to do the best I can in whatever I choose to do.”

JESSICA

“With SSS I learned about resources, time management, budgeting. In Learning Groups it was comforting knowing that all of us (first-gen) were going through the same thing. My favorite thing about SSS is it’s a home away from home with a super supportive family.”
