Welcome Future TAP Scholars!
TAP is a six-week academic program that runs from mid-June to the end of July. During that time, you will live on campus, take courses and earn four to six credits toward graduation. You will be apart of a cohort group and supportive community of instructors, advisors and peer mentors that will prepare you for a successful future, and provide you with the knowledge and skills that are so important to navigating college.
TAP Application is available for Summer 2023
TAP Eligibility
You are eligible to be a TAP scholar if:
- You will graduate high school before TAP begins.
- You will commit to participate in the full six-week program.
- You have successfully completed UW System high school core unit requirements.
- You have met UW Oshkosh Admissions criteria and have committed to enrolling at UW Oshkosh for the semester immediately after TAP is completed.
How to Apply
- Apply to UW Oshkosh if you have not already done so. The UW System application is available online at apply.wisconsin.edu.
- Apply for financial aid now. fafsa.gov/edu
- Receive an invitation to apply for TAP from UW Oshkosh Admissions Office or Titan Advantage Program.
- Complete the TAP application at uwosh.edu/tap
- Complete the required Math and English placement tests.
Important Dates for the 2023 Program
- Complete and Submit the Summer Housing Contract and the TAP Agreement Form to our office by Monday, May 1, 2023.
- Complete the Math and English Placement Tests by Sunday, May 7, 2023. For more information, please visit https://uwosh.edu/testing/placement-testing/.
- Complete an online orientation session & pre-advising form for Titan Takeoff – more information to come in a separate email. You will be automatically added to the June 17th session. - Attend Orientation and Move-In Day on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
- Attend Titan Takeoff on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
