Shakespeare’s “slapstick farce of his youth,” The Comedy of Errors sets up the premise that a set of identical twins unknown to each other find themselves in the same city after a lifetime spent apart – but wait, hold that thought – there are TWO sets of identical twins! This sets the stage for over the top pandemonium as well as lively and laughable complications of mistaken identity every which way the twins turn. This is a fanciful and crowd pleasing play for both those new to Shakespeare’s plays and for those who consider them old pals. “All the world’s a stage,” oops… wrong play! “All’s Well that Ends Well,” oops… wrong again! Ya wanna laugh? See the show!
