Reminder! COVID changes for March 1
UW Oshkosh Police Chief Kurt Leibold | February 28, 2022
Dear University community,
Beginning tomorrow, March 1, UW Oshkosh will lift indoor mask requirements on our campuses, except in the following spaces:
- All classrooms and labs
- Our COVID-19 testing/vaccination centers
- Student health center on the Oshkosh campus
As we continue to lift mask requirements, you are encouraged to continue wearing a mask, particularly if you have individual health concerns or concerns for vulnerable family members, co-workers and friends. Please respect the decisions your peers and colleagues will make.
As we’ve done throughout the pandemic, our Emergency Operations Center is tracking conditions closely as we move into March. We remain prepared to eliminate additional mask requirements as conditions warrant.
Testing for symptomatic students and staff and vaccinations remain available by appointment at Albee Hall on the Oshkosh campus. Schedule an appointment by following directions on the Titans Return website. UWO will also continue to make free masks available at Albee and on the Fond du Lac and Fox Cities campuses.
Visit Titans Return for continued updates about the University’s response to COVID-19.
