A reception at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Fond du Lac campus helped honor 32 students who will benefit from nearly $45,000 in scholarship funds and the donors who are providing support.
Cathi McGowan, UWO-Fond du Lac Foundation Inc. board president, welcomed guests to the Sept. 29 event and Martin Rudd, assistant chancellor for access campuses, and Andrew Leavitt, UW Oshkosh chancellor, offered remarks.
Elyssa Belling was the student scholarship speaker.
“We are truly appreciative of all the donors who stepped in during a pandemic to make sure our students have the resources they need to continue their educational pursuits,” said Barb Senn, executive director of the Foundation. “I know from talking with students how grateful they are to donors whom they may never know.
