The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh athletics department continues to reach new heights—47 national championships, 88 individual national championships, 200 WIAC Championships and 21 WIAC Tournament Championships.

To build on this momentum, Titan athletics is renewing the Rise as One campaign—an effort to provide championship-level resources for its 19 athletics programs.

“The Rise as One campaign gives all Titans the opportunity to support UW Oshkosh athletics,” said Darryl Sims, assistant chancellor for athletics. “The tradition of Titan athletics is something we strive to enhance on every day and the support we receive from our Titan family has always been outstanding. We ask for your continued support and to help us Rise As One!”

Rise as One provides an opportunity for the UW Oshkosh community of supporters to play a role in continuing the championship tradition of Titan athletics. Through the support, UWO can ensure that Titan athletics competes at the highest of levels and that its student-athletes receive the enriching experiences they deserve.

Donations will be 100% tax-deductible, and all funds raised will be used for:

  • Athletics and program-specific operational assistance
  • Facility enhancements designed to elevate the student-athlete experience

Donations can go directly to a sport or the athletics department itself.

“Being a student-athlete at UWO has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me,” said Eric Peterson, a senior economics and finance major from Batavia, Illinois, who plays on the men’s basketball team. “We are provided endless opportunities and support on a daily basis from our coaches, athletic department, fellow student-athletes, campus community and Oshkosh as a whole. The Titan athletics family is something that makes UWO special, and with the help of the Rise as One campaign, we can continue to build our family and bring home more championships to UWO.”

The Rise as One campaign raised nearly $93,000 for the Titan athletics department and its 19 sports in 2020.
