Lesly VanDen Heuvel

Lesly VanDen Heuvel, who earned a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2014, has earned the corporate achievement award from the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).

The national award recognizes an individual with project, budget and departmental responsibilities who has made significant accomplishments in the scientific, technical or engineering arena within a corporation. VanDen Heuvel works as an IT business partner in manufacturing at Kimberly-Clark Corp.

VanDen Heuvel is a native of Venezuela. After becoming a chemical engineer in 1996, she moved to Wisconsin in 2003. She began her career with Kimberly-Clark in 2005.

SHPE aims to empower the Hispanic community to realize its full potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development. SHPE recognized its 2021 award recipients at a national convention this fall in Orlando.
