Due to COVID-19 related protocols, Saturday’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women’s basketball game between the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and visiting UW-Stout in Kolf Sports Center has been canceled.
Per WIAC COVID-19 procedures, the game is deemed a “no contest.” The game will not count toward the overall record of either team or for NCAA Division III postseason selection purposes. The teams may attempt to reschedule the game later in the season as a nonconference contest.
UW Oshkosh (11-3, 1-2 WIAC), ranked 21st in Division III by D3hoops.com, is slated to host UW-Platteville on Wednesday in its next game. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in Kolf Sports Center.
UWO previously had its games against UW-River Falls on Jan. 8 and UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 12 canceled due to COVID-19 related protocols.
