Summer events planned for University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni are sure to excite those looking to celebrate their Titan pride—even if they no longer live near the three campuses.
“We are excited to offer a lineup of fun summer activities for UWO alumni and friends to come together and share their Titan pride” Alumni Director Christine Gantner said. “I’m looking forward to seeing alums I haven’t seen in a while as well as meeting new ones.”
Two new outings were added to the slate this summer. An alumni event in Washington, D.C. will take place on July 24. The event will feature UWO Chancellor Andy Leavitt and UWO sustainability director Brad Spanbauer and will celebrate the University receiving the prestigious U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools Postsecondary Sustainability Award.
The other new event will happen in Door County on Thursday, Aug. 18 at Stone Hedge Golf and Pub. The two-hour reception will be hosted by owner and television executive Kevin Wehrenberg ’93. Alums can also golf prior to the reception for $10 (walking) and $20 (with cart).

Alumni Night at Waterfest | Thursday, July 14 | Gates open at 5:45 p.m.
UW Oshkosh alumni are invited to enjoy free admission to Waterfest in Oshkosh with an Alumni TitanCard to see Tommy Decarlo, singer of Boston with special guest Rudy Cardenas of American Idol.

Alumni Reception in Washington, D.C. | Sunday, July 24 | Hawk ‘n’ Dove | 4-6 p.m.
Join UW Oshkosh Chancellor Andy Leavitt, UWO sustainability director Brad Spanbauer ’11 and ’14 MS, and fellow alumni and friends at Hawk ‘n’ Dove for a special alumni celebration. Enjoy visiting with fellow UWO alumni and friends during a reception featuring complimentary hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and Titan giveaways followed by a University update from Chancellor Leavitt.

Alumni Timber Rattlers Game | Wisconsin Timber Rattlers vs. South Bend Cubs | Wednesday, Aug. 10 | 5-8:30 p.m.
Join fellow UW Oshkosh alumni for an evening of minor league baseball as the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers take on the South Bend Cubs. The first 1,000 fans receive a racing night T-shirt presented by 4imprint. The game starts at 6:40 p.m. Enjoy a pregame meal in the upper-level Fox Club, which includes an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet of bratwurst, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad and two beverages. Box seats are included for those who wish to watch the game outside. Cost is $35 for adults, $25 for kids 3-10 and free to children two and under.

Join fellow UW Oshkosh alumni and friends for a reception at Stone Hedge Golf Pub, 4320 County Road E., Egg Harbor, WI 54209, hosted by owner and television executive Kevin Wehrenberg ’93. Enjoy meeting fellow alumni, complimentary appetizers, alumni giveaways and cash bar. Guests are welcome to stay on their own for dinner. Optional golf on the nine-hole course available to UWO alumni and friends prior to the reception for $10 walking and $20 with a cart, no tee time required.
