Grandparents University is a summer academy that brings grandparents and their grandchildren, ages 8–12, together at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for two fun-filled days of education and exploration. The annual event was back at the Oshkosh campus July 14-15 and invited grandparents and grandchildren to select a “major” to learn and explore together. Majors this year included Awesome Artists, Animal Adventurers, Roaring Rockets, Spectacular Scientists and Tech Titans. Each major included hands-on activities and demonstrations that helped encourage participants to learn and have fun.
