A unique one-stop-shop experience is planned at the Fond du Lac and Fox Cities campuses of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for anyone considering college.
Called Express Admissions, the events will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 in Fond du Lac and from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Menasha location.
Walk-in visits are welcome, with RSVPs encouraged. The event provides an opportunity for anyone who has been thinking about going to school for the first time, or anyone that had to stop school (for whatever reason) and is ready to start again.
Those attending can learn about options for school at Fond du Lac, Fox Cities or the Oshkosh campus—or 100% online.
A number of staff will be available to assist, including those from admissions, advising, financial aid, veterans resources and career and professional development. In addition, a transcript evaluator will be on hand for those with transfer credits.
“We will be there all afternoon to help anyone who comes in,” said Jeri Kukurich, interim executive director of student affairs for the UW Oshkosh access campuses at Fond du Lac and Fox Cities.

There will be prize giveaways to anyone attending and grand prize drawings for school swag, tuition vouchers and more for those who are admitted.
