The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has announced its Continuing Education course catalog for the coming semester, featuring a lengthy slate of in-person, hybrid and virtual options.

The Continuing Education program offers both personal and professional development opportunities through non-credit workshops and short courses.

For those looking to get into a new hobby, Continuing Education offers courses in chess, knitting, guitar and painting parties.

Educational travel opportunities are open to anyone looking for an excursion and new adventures. Among the offerings are international trips to the Alpine countries of Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and southern Italy and Sicily. Within the United States, options include trips to the islands of New England, a New York City theater tour and a Boundary Waters expedition. Day trips to Chicago and Milwaukee also are offered.

Online certification opportunities are available to help professionals advance in their careers or gain new skills. Social media, online teaching, business writing, digital communications, cybersecurity and digital risk management are some of the many topics covered.

Free courses this fall include Don’t Be Fooled by your Smart Phone, Zoom for Beginners and Five Money Questions for Women.
