The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh athletics department reached new heights in 2021-22. The Titans secured their 48th national championship thanks to the women’s gymnastics team and participated in seven postseason tournaments, with four teams winning their respective WIAC Championship.

To build on the recent success, Titan athletics continues the Rise as One campaign—an effort that has raised over $200,000 in the past two years for the athletic department and its 19 athletics programs.

Darryl Sims

“Since we began the Rise as One campaign in 2020, the support we have received from our donors has been incredible,” said Darryl Sims, assistant chancellor for athletics. “One of the reasons we have a proud championship tradition at UW Oshkosh is because of our ‘Titan Family.’ They help our student athletes get the championship experience that they not only deserve but also work hard for. UWO is a special place for our student athletes, and it’s because of our loyal Titan supporters.”

Rise as One allows the UW Oshkosh community to play a role in continuing the championship tradition of Titan athletics. Through the support, UWO can ensure that Titan athletics competes at the highest of levels and that its student-athletes receive the top-level experiences they deserve.

Donations are 100% tax-deductible, and all funds raised are used for:

  • Athletics and program-specific operational assistance
  • Facility enhancements designed to elevate the student-athlete experience

Donations can be designated for a particular sport or the athletics department itself.

“We strive for gold in everything we do; on the court, in the field of play and in the classroom and community,” Sims said. “With our community of donors, there is no doubt Titan athletics will continue to reach our gold standard.”
