The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Black and Gold Scholarship Event is right around the corner. The University’s signature event, set for Feb. 11 at the Gibson Social Club in Oshkosh, will help raise funds for scholarships to support UW Oshkosh students.

The roaring ’20s inspired event is hosted by UWO Chancellor Andrew and Karen Leavitt, and coordinated by the Advancement Office, a division of University Affairs.

The evening includes cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert bar, a silent auction and raffle, casino games and a short program.

A quartet of student and alumni musicians from the UW Oshkosh music department will perform before guests take part in the casino games.

Business casual attire is welcomed or attendees can sport their best 1920s attire.

The schedule for the event:

  • Registration and cocktails from 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Silent auction and raffle from 6 to 9:50 p.m.
  • Heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet and dessert bar available from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Casino games from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
  • Short program at 8:30 p.m.

The top issue facing UWO students is their ability to afford college. Attending and participating in the Black and Gold Scholarship Event helps support this.

Tickets are $75 per person or $1,500 for a corporate guest sponsor.

Reserve your space online here. Registrations are due by Feb. 3.
