At the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, every student is able to build their own story of success.
Take, for instance, first-year student Zach Cornell, new Fox Cities grad Hannah Nolte, junior Jarod Falk and senior Moriah Weeks. The four students—with different backgrounds, interests and aspirations—are finding their way forward, choosing from more than 250 academic programs, sampling from dozens of activities and experiences, connecting with caring faculty and staff and, in the end, building lifelong relationships.
Each story is their own—and each is supported in a variety of ways by the University community. Here’s how the four Titans have found a home at UWO.

In first year, band and bowling help Zach Cornell find home at UWO
Zach Cornell found all he needed and then some at his hometown University.
While part of the Oshkosh West High School class of 2022, he explored his options for college around the state, but found the opportunities presented at UW Oshkosh—and the ability to live with his parents to save money—made it the right fit.

Fox Cities grad Hannah Nolte is ready for her magical next chapter
Hannah Nolte says her time at the UW Oshkosh, Fox Cities campus prepared her for the magical future she’s always dreamed of.
Nolte soon will be heading from her Appleton home to sunny Florida—she was accepted into the coveted Disney College Program. In late February she’ll be assigned a position as a paid intern, which has the potential to lead to a permanent opportunity.

UWO helps business student Jarod Falk continue to exceed expectations
Jarod Falk is helping people understand his world of autism.
The College of Business junior completed a summer internship this year at Oshkosh Corp., organizing their first-ever autism awareness program as part of their diversity and inclusion program. He also gave the opening address.

TAP, McNair program set senior Moriah Weeks on road to success
Senior anthropology and environmental studies major Moriah Weeks brought the seeds of success with her to UW Oshkosh—a strong Christian faith, a desire to explore and a love of nature that sprouted from her involvement with youth conservation in her hometown of Milwaukee.
Weeks arrived on the Oshkosh campus in summer 2019 to take part in the Titan Advantage Program (TAP)—an intensive six-week jump start on the transition from high school to college. Participants learn test-taking and goal-setting strategies; enhance their math, writing and critical-thinking skills; and make crucial connections with faculty, staff and peer mentors all while earning college credits.
