The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh celebrated the start of the spring semester with the inaugural Welcome Back Bash during the men’s basketball game Wednesday night at the Kolf Sports Center. The beach-themed party included a giveaway of sunglasses to the first 100 fans in the gym, a rock-paper-scissors contest at halftime with a TV up for grabs and a pregame feast.
The Titans did their part to make the night memorable, defeating the Blugolds 74-63 to move to 16-5 overall on the season and extend their win streak to seven games. Senior guard Hunter Plamann also joined the UW Oshkosh 1,000 career point club. Up next is a trip to UW-River Falls for a 5 p.m. tipoff Saturday.
