The second-ranked University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh women’s volleyball squad set the WIAC win streak record with wins over Edgewood College and Wheaton College at Edgewood’s Todd Wehr Edgedome Nov. 4.
The Titans (32-0, 7-0 WIAC) swept Edgewood (19-10, 12-1 NACC) in scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-19 and beat Wheaton (10-15, 1-7 CCIW) in scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-11. Read details of the matches.
UWO broke the 31-year old league record of 31 wins in their first match of the day. UW-Platteville set the record in 1992, winning 31-straight between Nov. 9, 1991, and Oct. 24, 1992.
The Titans will return to the Kolf Sports Center on Thursday to face the winner of the No. 5 vs. No. 4 match at 7 p.m. in the semifinal round of the WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver’s).
