UW Oshkosh faculty interested in collaborating with a peer to grow professionally and impact student learning can apply for the Scholarly Teaching Excellence through Peer Support (STEPS) program offered through the Center for Scholarly Teaching (CST).

Two teams of partners will be selected to create various action plans based on training, peer observation and student surveying to be implemented and analyzed starting in fall 2010. Each chosen candidate will receive a $2,500 stipend for any professional development activities.

Interested faculty should submit their name, department and position along with a one paragraph description of demonstrated commitment to student learning and exemplary teaching, and a collaborative statement describing the willingness and ability of both candidates to work together.

Applications are due March 6 to cst@uwosh.edu. For more information about CST or the STEPS program contact Lori Carrell at carrel@uwosh.edu.
