The following Class Notes were received recently in the UW Oshkosh Alumni Office.

’63 Larry Didlo (EHS) is promoting his publication, “Wise Men Seek Him.” The Authorhouse publication will be presented at a librarian’s convention in Boston, Mass., in January.

’71 Jeff Johnson (B) is the executive director of the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.

’79 Scott Brooks (LS) published his third book, “Tracings in the Snow,” the third in a trilogy of poetry books that include his earlier works, “A Taste of Pitch” and “Thunder Lake.”

’83 Brenda (Schuett) Lau
(LS) works for the ABC television network, writing and producing trailers and marketing spots for “Desperate Housewives,” “Brothers and Sisters” and “The Forgotten.”

’87 Lynette (Piepenburg) Green (LS) is the director of corporate and foundation relations at St. Norbert College.

’87 Todd Teske (B) has been elected to the Badger Meter Inc. Board. He is the president and chief operating officer of Briggs & Stratton Corporation in Milwaukee.

’88 Major Ted Wahoske (B) was selected to attend the Air Force Institute of Technology’s logistics sciences graduate program.  This is a highly selective in-residence program intended to prepare military officers for senior leadership positions.

’89 John Williams (LS) is a colonel in the U.S. Army. He has served in the Army and Army National Guard for more than 19 years, including two combat tours during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated from Touro University with a master’s degree in health science and recently was selected to attend the Army War College. He is married and has two children.

’93 Terrance Schuelke (MBA) has been experiencing the challenges of transitioning into a new career during a down economy.  As he continues his search, he has been helping smaller companies reevaluate their business strategies and develop collaborative relations.

’95 Bret Bergst (LS) and ’99 (LS) and wife, Elisabeth, welcomed their daughter Beatrice Maryjane Bergst on Sept. 30.

’01 Eric Schafer (LS) is competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight division.  The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt received his bachelor’s of science in biology and chemistry and plans to become a doctor.

’07 Angela Roundtree (B) has been certified as a professional in human resources.

’08 Lucas Brown (MBA) is the director of research and advancement operations at Lawrence University.
