“A Citizens Guide to the Local Impact of Wisconsin State Budget 2013-15” will be held at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Monday, April 29 from 5 until 6:30 p.m. in Sage Hall 1214.

Todd Berry, the president of the Wisconsin Taxpayer Alliance, will present the context and character of the proposed state budget. The Wisconsin Taxpayer Alliance is a nonpartisan research organization, which is considered the state’s leading authority on state. A panel of local officials will highlight  the local impact of the proposed budget on governmental and educational services. Panel members include: Mark Rohloff, Oshkosh City Manager; Stan Mack, Oshkosh Area Public School Superintendent; Mark Harris, Winnebago County Executive; Chancellor Richard Wells, UW Oshkosh; and Melissa Kohn, Oshkosh Campus Administrator, Fox Valley Technical College.

The event is open to the community. This event is sponsored by Citizens for a Strong Oshkosh, League of Women Voters Winnebago County, The Scene, the Oshkosh Student Association and the Winnebago County Labor Council.

Parking is available in Lot 7, adjacent to Sage Hall, at UW Oshkosh.
